Bakamo appoints CEO, embarks on growth

Strategic social listening innovator that delivers “insights without asking” brings on industry veteran to drive expansion.

Budapest – January 4, 2017 – Bakamo.Social, a strategic social listening consultancy, has appointed former Ipsos and NPD Group exec Jonathan (JD) Deitch as Chief Executive to lead the company’s growth stage expansion.

Dan Foreman, Bakamo Chairman, said: “We’re coming out of 2016 with key customer wins and repeat business that have validated our approach. With JD, we have someone with the vision and experience to scale the business heading into 2017. We’re delighted he’s joined the team.”

Deitch is a twenty-year veteran of the market research industry. He began his career as a research client in the financial services sector and went on to hold senior positions at The NPD Group, where he was head of research and analytics in Europe, and Ipsos, where he led global sample and panel operations. Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer at AYTM, a DIY survey research platform. JD is a recognized thought leader on the evolution of market research in the digital age and is a frequent author and conference speaker. He joins Bakamo as CEO and Company Director.
